Stephen Davey is the senior pastor at Colonial Baptist Church. He also serves as president of Shepherds Theological Seminary and as principal Bible teacher on Wisdom for the Heart. He attended college at Liberty University and Tennessee Temple University where he graduated in 1981. He went on to earn his masters degrees at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary and Dallas Theological Seminary. He was recently awarded a Doctor of Divinity degree from an STS sister seminary in Chennai, India.
Following graduation from Dallas, Stephen moved to Cary in 1986 with his family to plant Colonial. He presently maintains a full schedule leading Shepherds Seminary, directing Wisdom for the Heart, now heard on 5 continents, as well as maintaining his primary ministry as pastor/teacher.
