Randy Hefner is married to Patricia who is the daughter of missionaries that have served in both Japan and Russia. Patricia was a school teacher before retiring to spend more time with her family. The Hefners live in Apex and have three adult children: Sean, Joshua & wife, Nikki, and Elizabeth. In 2002 the Hefners came to Colonial from a church in North Raleigh as they desired to have a church family and friends closer to where they lived; this was especially important to their then high school aged children. Friends who were leaders at Colonial also drew them to make CBC their church home. Randy has served in a variety of ministries including: Crown Ministries (participant and leader); Evangelism Explosion (course and visitation); Children’s Ministries Volunteer; various youth and college class activities and most recently as a Deacon and FLOCKS Leader. |
