Jesse was born in Wilson, NC where he graduated from Darden High School and also married his high school sweetheart, Geraldine. Jesse moved to Washington, DC and attended Johnson Business School and worked as a Dental Technician for several years. Later, he began his career at Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co (A&P) as a meat cutter. He enjoyed his job as a conscientious worker and soon became a meat manager. Jesse is now employed at Food Lion on Kildaire Farm Road in Cary. Jesse came to faith in Christ through his wife’s testimony. “No Christ, no wife.” They joined Bethesda Baptist Church and became grounded in the word of God and bound to obedience. They have been members at Colonial for six years. He is an usher and a member of Quest. They have one son, Gregory Dean, who is thirty-nine. Jesse and Geraldine have been married forty-five years. |
